Torque and Speed Grounding Module
Convert the PPA's differential input to grounded
PPA3500, PPA4500 and PPA5500 series power analyzers offer mechanical power measurement via pulse count or analogue signals from Torque and Speed transducers. The Torque and Speed inputs on PPA35/45/5500 instruments are differential with a high impedance to ground, which is suitable for transducers that are also differential. However, for certain sensors and applications it may be beneficial to use a single ended input, where the outer of the BNC is grounded.
Grounding can be achieved with crocodile connectors clipped onto to the BNC connectors, but this can be unreliable, so the Torque and Speed Grounding Module provides a much safer and more reliable solution.
